Where do I even start with how life changing the Art & Soul retreat was?!
I not only got everything I expected, but so, so much more. I got to feel community, connection, and I learned SO much about myself, my why and what I want my business to offer/do for others.
Everything about this place was breathtaking, but the magical moments I will absolutely cherish forever, are the warm hugs, the smiles & laughs… the fun adventures, dancing together, running around nekkid in the wilderness, finding connections and feeling seen, heard & supported in so many ways.

Vancouver Island is located a 2 hour ferry ride away from Seattle, or a 1.5 hour ferry ride from Vancouver.
We recommend the ferry from Horseshoe Bay (North Vancouver) to Departure Bay (Nanaimo) if you plan on coming straight to the retreat.
You can also reach Vancouver Island by two international airports, located in Victoria, or Nanaimo.
We highly recommend renting a car, as Vancouver Island is huge. For comparison, the Vancouver Island land mass of 32,134 sq. km (12,407 sq mi) is about equal to that of the Country of Taiwan. In North American terms, the Island is considerably larger than states such as Vermont, and Connecticut!

Port Alberni is located a 3 hour drive from Victoria, or a 1 hour drive from Nanaimo.
It’s a small town nestled in an inlet, with access to many beautiful hiking trails, mountains, and waterfalls.
Having a car unlocks so much exploration opportunities!

Get outside! The world famous town of Tofino is located near Port Alberni – if you’re renting a car we highly recommend extending your stay on the island and checking out the beaches in Tofino or Ucluelet.
You can also visit the capital of BC, Victoria, which is located a 3 hour drive from Port Alberni. If you’re flying in or taking the ferry there is a good chance you’re passing through Victoria anyways. If you are interested in exploring the city, let us know and we can send you our city guide!
All I have to say is FRICKING DO IT!! It’s worth every penny, you will make more money, but you will never have these moments again! This was the best thing I could have done for myself. I came home a better, mom, partner and friend. Honestly one of the best experiences of my life, I cannot recommend it enough. You deserve it and should totally go!!!

This retreat is intended as a container for us as artists to come together to grow, play and rest, challenge our limiting beliefs, and work through our own inner squidge so that we don’t accidentally project it onto our clients. This retreat is a guided experience to help you as an artist, and as a human being. This retreat is not a substitute for professional therapy.

This retreat is open to any photographer who identifies as a woman, or as a marginalized gender.

Attendees are welcome to pay in full, or a $500 deposit and then breaking the remainder into a payment plan leading up to 60 days before the retreat.
Afterpay/Affirm is available for Canadians, and allows you to break the investment into 24 months.

We only have our venue for 5 nights, but I am happy to help you plan a solo adventure on the island if you wish to extend your stay!
